This course covers the context of utilitarianism; its different types; the ideas of key thinkers (e.g. Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill); applying and evaluating the theory; and the legal, social, and religious perspectives in the area. This course is designed for anyone interested in utilitarianism; however, it's specifically linked to specification content for the following qualifications.
